Ingredients
2Avocado(approx 330g of avocado flesh)
120gGreek yogurt(or any pot set plain yogurt)
1Lime(juice only - can use lemon)
3gGarlic Powder(1 tsp)
5gSalt(1 tsp)
3gPepper(½ tsp)
Fresh Herbs(optional - see notes)
Instructions
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz for one minute or until smooth and creamy. If using fresh herbs, it may take an extra minute to become smooth. If you are using ripe avocados and no herbs, this creamy avocado dip is suitable for making in a stand mixer, but a food processor will give you a creamier, smoother result.
Notes
Yogurt - you want to use a thick pot set yogurt like Greek yogurt otherwise the dip will be too runny. Avocado - I prefer using fresh avocado but you can use frozen avocado if you need to. I let the frozen avocado flesh sit at room temperature for around 30 minutes before making the dip.
